Matt

Matt is the resident janitor and mechanic. If anything breaks down or needs repaired in any way, Matt is the man for the job. His "straight job" is working at an insurance agency but his life after work centers around making sure Rescue Farm runs smoothly and efficiently. Matt found the new location in Poland for Rescue Farm and took care of all the paperwork and hard labor involved in moving the rescue in early April 2006. Matt has several cats of his own named Heinz, Smiley, Brooks, and Alice.

Lauren

Off-site Events Coordinator, Petfinder Upkeeper, and Puppy Fosterer Photo of

We met Lauren as a Graduate Student at Indiana University and she has been dedicating every spare moment to Rescue Farm. She coordinates adoptions and getting potential adopters to events. She also keeps our Petfinder animal listings updated and always has room to foster a puppy or two (or three, or four...). Lauren also checks in on our cats at Petsmart to make sure they are happy and cared for. Lauren lives in Terre Haute with her three dog "kids" Ollie, Scout and Quintin.

Andrew & Jackie

Webmaster, Writer, and Kitten Fosterers Photo of

These two live in Bloomington, have been fostering kittens for years and are always able to be suckered into yet another group of adorable fluffballs. They've been around Rescue Farm since the beginning, helping out when schedules allow. In between kitten cuddlings, they design the website and keep it running and updated. They have a small zoo at home, including eight adult cats, a chinchilla, two bearded dragons, and a green tree python.

Cass began volunteering in 2007 after adopting her dog, Elwood, from Rescue Farm. She's an overall big help for the rescue, doing a little bit of everything including our Terre Haute adoption events at Petsmart, researching new fundraisingopportunities, and occasionally traveling to shelters to pull animals. Cass is a Medical Assisting/Health Care Management student in Indianapolis. In addition to Elwood, she also adopted a black kitten from Rescue Farm in 2006, named Deuce.

Cheryl

Cheryl decided to become a Rescue Farm volunteer after adopting a female boston terrier to be friends with her current boston. Although not a "cat person" per se, Cheryl has jumped right in assisting with the upkeep and organization of our cats at Petsmart about 3 days each week. She also never misses an adoption event. We're thrilled to have Cheryl on our team! Cheryl is a nursing student in Terre Haute and shares her home with her two bostons and her loving husband Mike.
